My name is Matt
Durham, and I've been
building since I could crawl. My first large
scale installation piece was a Lego city that covered my entire bedroom. Not
standing in the way of its expansion meant sleeping on the floor so that the airport could
be built on the high ground of my bed.
I've experimented with everything from drawing, painting, and
printmaking, to ceramics, carpentry, glass blowing and welding.
I've
built freestanding lofts in dorm rooms and fraternity houses - including a
double bed loft with a 14 foot span. I've
done landscaping including brick paving, building retaining walls and
staircases, and a thatched roof gazebo, also called a Palapa. I
build custom projects to suit your needs.
